Its been quite a while since i posted something in here, partly because i did not buy anything new, but also partly because the chinese did need forever to deliver my stuff.
I ordered these Sluban tanks in February, right after the King Tiger was delivered and i found it to be good. Im quite a fan of the Sluban military stuff, and these two kits only support my oppinion.
First we have the Sluban T-34.
Comes with 2 minifigures, 2 spures with weapons and some small ruin (not on the pic). Also some stickers which i did not apply.
Good things:
The tracks work great, even if its not the "big" type Cobi or QG uses.
The tracks look great with those brown track links in between. Never seen that on any other block tank, but it adds quite a bit to the overall look i think.
The overall shape of the tank is very good. I also like the choice of making it white for their winter theme, while the lower half of the tank (wheels etc) is in muddy brown.
There are no special molded parts used, like Cobi does it sometimes.
Overall a good build, fairly quickly finished and the brick quality in general is good too. Sluban improved a fucking lot in that regard.
Bad things:
The antenna looks bad (easily removed tho)
The roadwheels are on short axes, which are a tiny bit too short. It looks good, but the outer layer of wheels will come off if you drive around to much.
And finally a general design flaw, not tied to this tank in particular: the piece that makes the greatcoat for the soldiers goes over their legs and prevents them from moving properly. Looks good, but not a perfect solution i believe.
