Also coming out at the time were X/1999 and Toyko Babylon, where CLAMP was drawing superflolous capes/cloaks/coats. There's also Vampire Hunter D and Amano doing cloaks extending in every direction in the 80s.
I'm probably missing a bunch of european art, but fuck if i remember any actual character since they're mostly poorly written and only the artist is worth remembering.
Capes like that are a dime a dozen and this shouldn't even be an argument if you weren't a zoomer.
IF youre actually older, how come you don't remember all of the criticism that arose from the Spawn comics?
