They're undersized compared to MLs, even before you take ito consideration that new MLs have suffered from a scale creep.
Even with the figures where the heights being almost equal, they're still out of scale based on their heads.
They just look weird next to 1:12 lines, even other Japanese lines like Figma, Revoltech, and mafex who do make produce figures that are scaled better for 1:12.
