Honestly, on an MP toy, I prefer neither.

Lightpiping doesnt look right on an MP, and LED's increase the price as fuck for a feature i'll use once.

also i have to remember to remove the batteries so they dont explode and melt the toy in years time

I'm not trying to speak for everyone and I didn't know what most thought of Victorion's hands, I just liked that the parts mattered in all modes. It cut down on the lazy partforming feel, though you're still removing them from the figures during transformation. It doesn't seem like Victorion's do anything outside the combined mode.
