Again, you're looking at extreme close ups on a computer screen, blowing up the details your eye would have trouble seeing.
Hence my using a 20 dollar bill to show how much you guys exaggerate the appearance, where you can see details you can't see without getting extremely close or using a magnifying glass.
And unlike the 20 dollar bill, where the little dots and lines are made up of contrasting colors, OPM's face is painted in a single matte color, which is why it appears smooth even close up. Those little bumps are smaller than the wavy lines on your fingers and those are difficult to see unless you're a gross scaly dry construction worker.
