Rounding on Brutaka, he literally has a skill set that is too powerful for a base level Makuta to simply one shot (even for accounting for them being susceptible to magnetism like Botar). If that was mixed in with Krekka (from Stelt) then that would have just screwed with canon cus then someone could have just said "But Krekka was eaten yet Brutaken couldn't just be eaten too?"
At least allowing the disposal and use of characters wouldn't be monotonous because you could easily show they're different species so different paths to losing in the narrative.
