The color and the various molding quirks is what made them all unique and gave them their charm and collectability, every specific bone you had was incredibly unique just from the sheer amount of combinations of colors and designs.
Once the aliens line came out and they were molded better and painted, I totally lost interest. It took emphasis away from the plastic colors themselves. The new ones just seem like any other random little painted figures, do they even still have the arced back for your finger?
