So I painted this bird in dark sea grey instead of extra dark sea grey. And at first I didn't mind but then it got on my nerves. I cbf trying to mask everything again to spray a transparent film.
I was looking at brush on filter products from mig and then I realised that I could try using dot filters with oil paints. payne's grey oil paint seemed to have so far solved my problem.
So yeah I guess, I learned that you can use off tone paint colours and just modulate them with oil paints to correct them.
