This idea of "generations and generations of nothing but G1!!!!!!!" is completely false. Reminder this was considered the best "G1 Prime" for years until Siege. Is it a G1 Prime? No, it's a total reimagining, could be a Prime of a totally different series if it was made for one, the only thing that makes it G1 is that it's not an ape. It is no more "G1 Prime" than Fire Convoy or Armada Prime is.
