I just got Kultur in the mail and set him against Tarn's concept art. He's actually a lot better than I expected. The shoulders have a good range with one big soft detent joint and one massive ball joint - you can snug them up to make them look like one coherent piece or just fling them out any which way. His shoulders are a pain in the ass to draw as anything other than straight down or forward, so I was really surprised at how well they bend and look decent doing it.
The cannons can rotate, which I didn't expect. I don't actually mind the tread pieces at the back of the calves, though I wish they had a more solid lock. (Are the lower knee joints supposed to lock into the shin piece? I can't get them to do it.) The crotch is a bit odd in how it doesn't taper from front to back, and I notice his feety flaps pull themselves off the hinges. I don't see myself opening them often, but still. The only major disappointment is his mask, but I expect the Shapeways people to be breaking out their calipers right about now.
The comic was hilarious.
