The only reason for that is because up until recently Disney Princess films have featured white fairy tales, but they are working on changing this as we speak with new Princesses like Moana, and and Allana of Avalor. They even turned the Brothers Grimm's Princess and the Frog Princess who is traditionally know for being a stuck up spoiled blonde Princess into a back girl in order to create the first black disney princess. They are also currently working on creating a Jewish Disney princess soon. Not to mention all the non-white dolls that already exist in that Princess aisle you speak of like
