I started with LDD yesterday making 4-wide cars like pic related, so I was hesitant about even going to 6-wide. 7 you might be able to do some exotic-looking stuff with a single-wide nose in the middle (a la the Enzo or La Ferrari or Enzo), but 8 seems almost impossible.
