I finally finished this thing, Very rewarding build, and glad I got it. It's rather dominating, and generally looks great. The proportions I think are slightly off, but that's rather unavoidable given the medium it's been made in. It took 6 days of building on and off, and taking time to appreciate the build. My only gripes are having stickers in a set like this, particularly on parts that could have been easily printed, but it's a small complaint.
I'm feeling very happy with this. This is a set I've wanted since it's first release when I was 13, and now I have it, it's something of a life goal ticked off the list. All in all, very much worth the effort. Now I have to wait for the stand to arrive so I can display it properly. Just means I get to look over at my project desk and see that sat over there. It's a nice feeling.
