>>11025836I wasn't too familiar with F-Zero back in the day, I recall playing it once. I had some of these Mini Streex McDonald's toys. So around Melee came out there were the stages Mute City and Big Blue that showed the vehicles, so for a while I thought that's what those toys were from.
Streex was a Hot Wheels line from 1992, it somewhat resembled F-Zero, so I wonder if they based it off that. Hot Wheels has done a bunch of Mario Kart and Mario themed cars. I wish we got some F-Zero Hot Wheels. Streex would had been neat tie in but it's been long dead, I can't even find any videos on it other than the commercials.
