For example I'm iffy about the female barbarian because the body sculpt is pretty soft, almost flabby and tubular - pic related. I've heard defenses that the sculpt got washed out by harsh lightning, which might or might not be true. Now that there are in hand reviews, I know that the female sculpt is still underwhelming, tubular, soft with no definition. But I PO'd the barbarian anyway in case its the opposite, and I'm planning to scalp other people on ebay after I receive my shipment of her.
This is what I mean by incentivize. During PO I have limited info on the figure. It could come up good or bad, it's a roulette regarding articulation on a new buck, joint tightness, paint, etc. I could decide to not PO, and get scalped by other people later on, or PO and scalp other people later if I dont like the figure.
