The middle one appears to be a slight misprint, I'll give you that, but other than that, I don't see much difference, other than the shape of the mouth, and that has nothing to do with quality of the printing.
This photo I'd argue is worse, even though all the heads are technically in focus, it's still slightly blurred, even on the older heads.
I think you're mistaking this "blurryness" for a different shape of the mouth and eye placement.
