Multiple stores are even setting up not one but two sets of tags for it. When has this happened before? As far as I recall, and please correct me if I'm wrong, most other exclusives only have the one tag. They may be anticipating demand, but weren't anticipating this early buzz and fuss.
These also most likely were intended for a Snake Eyes movie, to have endcaps full of new stuff to promote the film and brand. While Snake Eyes is now delayed to 2021, I'm sure not everything could get delayed. But if these were meant to align with a movie release, thats also the sign of a fuckton of them on the way.
A similar thing happened at Walmart. The Netflix Transformers line, only available there, trickled out, some retailers listed figures for over double cost, before having a big boon and now thet're pretty available. What if thats going to be the case here?
