I picked designs I liked often but won't lie there were several that were just impulse buys because they were "good deals". I've been thinking about getting back in the hobby, posted last thread about something I was interested in. Most of the HGs seemed pretty bad. Fun to put together, but the end result was floppy and fragile. The Victory gundams were the most satisfying of the non-RG 1/144 (I army built the Victories). The 00 was so close to good, impressive considering how early it is but still had issues.
I started to put more effort to make the clean-up good, stepped up my lining game and bought paint equipment but I was really busy with school at the time so I didn't put it to use. Overall stop being the worst snap shitter, but I couldn't imagine the effort being worth doing absolute everything (paint, fusing panels) for HGs given what they were bringing to the table.
