Like compare it to the MG, the legs are specifically telling. Painjob aside the MG mold has far more hard defined edges, on the HG the studs on the knee are like soft little buttons while the MG has hard protruding cylinders
For the design at hand I think it fits way better with a sharper aesthetic, I can't imagine the scale couldn't accommodate for harder edges
