It's been a long time since I've felt anything but apathy for Star Wars.
TFA filled me with dislike and disappointment when it was first shown off, but that turned into apathy so fast.
Even with the newer figures that arent sequel based, it's hard to get excited because it's the same old shit that we've seen for decades.
I mean, i didn't even get excited when they showed off the SDCC Thrawn, because I already owned his 3.75" version.
I'm tired of trying to give a shit. The last real enthusiastic effort I felt Star Wars had was with the prequels and that road was ridden hard for 10 years, but now i feel like the franchise has coasted to a stop.
i like the Clone Wars series and the Mandalorian, but it's all the same shit we've seen for years and years and years and years. There's nothing new from the Mandalorian, but retread of retread that literally loooks like fan cosplay tier stuff.
