Hard to say....by action figure standards in the 90s, they were in fact shit as people are saying, as action figures.
However they have a certain...legitness to them, it's in the sculpting, it's all so sharp and severe, it makes them look cool, and while they feel a bit outdated they also feel like more honest toys, like they could have been some stand alone obscure toyline that wasn't based on a cartoon in the first place
When you compare this to the stuff that started coming out later, that were more posable or had action gimmicks, they really did look a lot lamer despite being better toys, they LOOKED like toys made to be a kid cartoon cashgrab, or something like that
I had these guys as well back in the day, and even though they were technically better figures, they lacked the charm and cool look of the old ones. I ended up trading most of them to friends for the old barely poseable figures my friends had that I didn't have like Gogeta and Vegeto and such
