That being said, there's a risk of losing your data if you do it at the wrong time. It might not be a huge deal to some buy I want to complete the log and I was so mad when I lost my data. Be warned that resetting when your digimon is saving it's data, that data will be gone. And I think it saves after every interaction, when it's dying, evolving, or in an egg, or at every minute mark.
The downside to the reset trick is that if your digimon doesn't sleep, it's DP meter won't refill, which means it can't battle. You can put it down for a 3 hour nap to refill it's DP but that will cut into it's evolution time since the DM20 freezes it's timer during sleep. But who plays v-pets to speedrun them?
