>>9916990the geniuses at marvel had to digitally 'recreate' his suit due to the fact that the original suits have been lost or stolen. virtually everything from promotional artwork, other statues, and other figures represent Tobey's spider-man as if his costume has always been the original SM3 work. The NWH variant is based off of a artist's depiction of what the suit is believed to look like with some creative 'freedom' given. The NWH's variant has the eyes sitting lower than any of his previous eyes, them being fully white with no sort of off-white and shading towards the edge of the lenses and additional linework on the mask itself.
>According to Port, their team “based them in the original suits,” but in the end, there “could be a little bit of variation in them” as they fully appeared on screen:>“Well, we based our digital suits on what our costume department made. And I think for the most part, they based them on the original suits. However, there could be a little bit of variation in them. The fact that Tobey and Andrew came from a slightly later timeline, they’re older, so time has passed, and they’ve lived their lives and probably have changed their suits or augmented them a little bit.” Them rereleasing the movie is quite obviously to make up for the fact that they inherently rushed the film while making some more money. This is evident with a lot of the theaters getting a bunch of reportedly different varieties of film, the earlier ones having a lot more unrefined vfx work and the later ones having more refined vfx work.
