It's only been the last year and a bit where I've had not much going on irl and so I've had a bit more cash to finally live some childhood dreams and pick up some amazing lego sets.
So most of the sets I have are ideas/expert display sets.
Outside of those sets my brick inventory is very limited, for now - eventually I'd like to get a sufficient portion of the most useful bricks in general in order to have a brick inventory (organized, need to get some satisfactory drawers with those little dividers sometime).
I am a creative person, it's something that I find to be enjoyable pretty much all the time, drawing is what I do most (pic rel) and it's a weird style that I have fun with.
I think an aspect of what makes me so interested to get into mocc'ing in a serious but fun way is the experience of seeing so many neat mocs shared here by fellow anons. I have always enjoyed learning about the mocs people have made, the tricks or difficulties involved, the concept initially and the outcome physical.
When I first came to lego general sometime in 2013 I think, maybe a bit earlier or a bit later, a popular point of discussion was the cheap little mechanical digger set, think it was like 10 bucks or so, and people often discussion how much potential that little set had - also people would build it whilst it was still in it's bag, which I'd never seen before and that was eye opening, and still is something I consider neat to this day. There's also that fella who does the lego quests and always has such a great way of mocc'ing up a rich scene. That's so cool to me.
