>>8647117The screws on these things only come in so many variants, and it's usually some kinda simple fraction of an inch that it's measured in. So basically any airbrush will probably have, hm, IIRC it's 1/4", while the compressor might have 3/8" or 1/2". Sometimes you can find a hose that's nicely whatever the compressor has in one end and your airbrush size in the other, but if not a conversion coupling is just a simple one piece bolt-like thing you screw on, pic related. Buy from a hobby store, airbrush supply store, DIY store or the internets.
The hose-airbrush connection sounds rather weirder, is there perhaps a quick disconnect coupling attached to hose or airbrush there? If so you might be able to just screw that off. Or if the hose is different in each end, have you simply tried it the other way around? Otherwise if you bought it all in a physical store you should be able to go back and shove them that it doesn't fit, either they'll help show you what you're doing wrong or they'll slap palms against foreheads and very quickly swap out the hose for one that fits the airbrush.
