I would first suggest a break from the hobby entirely, cut off from news and forums, for a few weeks at least. If you forget about collecting, great, you've moved on. If you still have a strong desire to buy toys, you need to think about why you buy what you buy. I've had strong desires to own stuff that have dissipated within an hour of owning it, then stuff I've bought on a whim years ago that I still cherish a lot. Willingness to sell is a huge part of making up for those misread feelings, and will help you learn as well
