If anything I feel the opposite, Diablomon has always been a contendor for merch but has infamously had many figures cancelled presumble due to his wierd proportions and noodl-y limbs. I feel like the more mechanical redesigns of the amplified line could allow them to tweak his design to be easier to design a figure around.
For example, they could make his arms a bunch of small tube segments with ball joints a la this Mobile Suit's arms
