>>6026905>>6026914Well, post ww2 Russian tanks are almost a fetish and the sexiest armored beasts to me, I'm getting ready for creating a T-series marathon next year starting with the T-90MS warm up that I’m doing now. That said the armata platform as it is now it's a bit “neat” or plain, but AFAIK the turret is either a test bed or the internal structure as it lacks the typical detachable ERA/NERA armor typical of Russian and other armies, although you could argue that with the APS suite it carries it doesn't need it and would only increase the weight.
For me the saddest lost opportunity was the black eagle prototype (aka T-80UM2), the most beautiful and badass tank I’ve seen in years and the turret kinda looks like the one in
