They deliberately spoiled the movie and shilled against it, because they wanted to hurt JJ's career, primarily because he was going to be rebooting the DCEU over at Warner Bros, which pissed Disney execs off. >JJ wanted to split the movie up into two parts and make two movies instead of a trilogy. Disney refused to let him. So he tried to make a 3 hour movie, which Disney re-cut to shorten.>Disney cut almost all footage of Rose Tico to both shorten the movie, and because fans hated her.>Disney forced JJ to make Kylo and Rey kiss and wanted them to be a couple, because that was what fans wanted. JJ didn't want that though and had wanted Finn and Rey to be an interracial couple from the very beginning and had fought with Disney over casting a black man in the role of Finn. >Disney execs believed that having both a white woman as the main character and a black man as her love interest was too woke and would turn people off. This is why John Boyega is mad, because Disney purposely side lined the plot that he was Rey's love interest and would also become a Jedi.>Disney cut out scenes with Finn, such as a scene where he uses the force and one where he tells Rey that he's force sensitive. >Disney had to re-shoot scenes without JJ just to fix the movie and make it work at a shorter run time. >Disney did in fact cut out a scene at the end with force ghosts in order to release the movie in China. Disney only cared about money and was cutting out and removing shit the audience hated: Finn and Rose, as well as tossing out the relationship Finn and Rey were supposed to have that JJ insisted on. This is likely why Kylo dies, since Rey and Kylo wasn't JJ's ship.
