Maketoys will probably be making toon accurate MPs of them too, and MMC might make IDW ones as well. If you want dinobots to fill a shelf, you have options.
But every Dinobot combiner so far is a let down. I don't want them to MP scaled or retail alike, I want them to be good toys. You're right that GCreation shouldn't have rode the line between MP and CHUG, because they should have done their own aesthetic and scale so they could make functional bots that can also combine. I love combiner teams, and it's clear there's a lot of people who like them too. Hell, I would kill for CW compatible 3p figs of every transformer character. Even if they aren't scramble city, if they can manage a gestalt mode without hindering the individual bots, then more power to them.
I just want good combiners! Is that so much to ask!?!
