>>10603278>is about 200 to 300, is this a fair price? Given I simply don't have the means to go to disneyland and all that. For a complete one? Probably... unfortunately. When you make one in the parks it costs $120, so I could see an upcharge for getting one online, though personally I wouldn't pay 200-300 for one as that seems like a hefty upcharge. At that point I'd just consider saving up for a day trip to one of the parks and book an appointment to build one.
>but from the videos I've seen, they no longer sell the basic color panels, and only have the metallic panels avalible? From when I was there in March they didn't even have all the metallic ones either. They don't seem to cycle back stock of older accessories which is strange.
>I'm a huge nerd for robots in genral, and I'm just a sucker for customizable toys. These guys really tickle my tismWould recommend then. I got 1 back in 2022 while in my honeymoon and we went back in March of this year to do the stuff we didn't get to, and we ended up making 4 more. I also plan to paint one of mine eventually.
>I'm weary of the build quality, knowing its a tourist attraction type thingDon't be. Unless your plan on throwing them around or something or using them outside on you should be fine there will put together and I think if there ends up being anything wrong with your Disney might help fix it potentially. But they're decent quality
>I could paint the inside with that would just make it pop.Sounds like it could be cool, go for it
>I've also seen the custom cat carrier backpacks people have made and want to build one as well. It looks really cool all put together with the paint and the lights.I've seen some of those too. They're cool but I just got to off the bags you can get when you build them for an additional cost. They're a nice canvas material and have a window zipper so you can see the droid.
There are also the ones you can buy on shopDisney which are existing droids like R2 and Chopper.
