The guy who made the plug and play always on mod posted this. I was having issues with the pack powering off when flicking the third switch, and was indeed using Energizer batteries, so if you're also having this problem it may be as easy as changing your batteries to fix. Though I will also say I put in a Talentcell rechargeable battery using one of those USB mod cables, and my pack has been working fine since then, so that's another way to fix the issue.
