>>9374784You can get close airbrushing Alclad Chrome. But be warned, it's not a simple process. 9/10s of chrome paintjobs are surface and under-layer preparation. You first need to sand your surface until it's smooth as silk, or it will ruin the effect. Hit it with the shiniest gloss black you can get, then wait for it to fully cure. Then apply numerous light coats of Alclad Chrome, waiting for it to dry in between. Do not use any topcoat other than Alclad Aqua Gloss, or you will ruin the effect.
You can also take a cheap shortcut by just using Molotow Chrome ink. It's not nearly as nice, but it gives a semi-chromey look fast. The only downside is, you will not be able to touch the toy after that without degrading the shininess with every touch. After you've handled it enough, the chrome effect will disappear and you'll be left with plain silver paint.
