What really gets me is how there's essentially no payoff (or even negative payoff in some cases). Look at this. Somebody took the time and effort to painstakingly cut out all these word bubbles, and for what? It looks like fucking shit, the edges are unevenly cut, you can see torn edges where their blade snagged, and they're unevely lit and desaturated. This would have looked way better and taken less work if they'd just cut the words out in Photoshop and composited them into the scene.
Basically what ACBA amounts to is dick-waving over the fact that they haven't Photshopped their photos. It's incredibly stupid, counterproductive, and limits the possibilities of what can be done with the medium.
