Since I have to paint 5 more kits (eventually) the exact same way, I had to document the whole thing for myself, so in case you're curious, here it is. The darker colors only needed a base and a highlight color, lighter color needed all 3 (base, shadow and highlight), some colors like gray are not really shaded and color variation is achieved by uneven application over black surfacer base.
>>9863888Unless you feel like dropping $60 just so you can slice wet decals, you can just use a fresh hobby blade (preferably Olfa design knife) over somewhat dried decal (fully dried decal may crack so I wouldn't wait for it to dry completely).
