Sometimes not having to care about fucking up a kit is quite freeing since all their stuff is dirt cheap. It removes all the stress from having to hold my breath over every single little piece out of a hundred as to not ruin a $200 kit that I want to do perfectly. Being able to slap it together in 30 minutes and then go ham with some crazy color scheme and just generally not even caring that much for the end result but rather embrace the joy of building and painting itself.
