Every year, 20 new Optimus Primes. Different versions of the character, different scales, from every incarnation of the character and every media, but that's it. That's all they ever make.
Inexplicably, people keep buying them, and then next year, the same thing. Slightly different sculpts, sizes, etc, maybe better, maybe worse, but always the same Optimus Prime character.
At what point would you stop buying multiple versions of the same figure?
Do you understand why you would stop?
Do you recognize that fatigue?
Because that's how a lot of us oldfags feel about TF in general these days. The same tired characters in new molds, year after year after year.
The brand is stagnant, it needs new characters, new figures, new stories.
