>>8494848Well, I don’t have Netflix either, but I watched the show when I had to stay at a family’s member’s house while they were on vacation to watc their dog, because it would flip out hard if it stays at someone else’s house. So I’ve only watched it all the way through twice.
I like how they animated the masks, it’s liek a mixture between the Miramax films and the MNOG animations, so their mouths don’t move, because I ya a mask, but they can move their eyes and that area to be very expressive. The art style is interesting, and I liked how the models are similar, but not exactly like the sets, as if yo ysonehow mixed the model style for Miramax and The Legend Reborn. Ekimu has a pretty cool sounding voice, and acts like a mixture of Mata Nui, Takanuva, and Turaga Vakama. Pohatu does some cool things, basically going “Super Saiyan” at one point by covering his body in stone liek some kind of power-up. Some of Umarak’s powers in Gen show are pretty cool. If there’s any type of Shadow around, he can retreat into it and warp somewhere else by “sinking” into the ground. Onua is shown to have both brawn and brains. Makuta does that thing he did in the Miramax movies where he can talk to people by using his red-glowing, floating eyes as an avatar. Makuta outsmarts Umarak, when Umarak thinks he can pull one over on him.
The sucky parts are that a lot of things are abruptly cut short, especially the ending. There was some neat build up, but then in the last few minutes it kind of goes “oh yeah, and the prophesy states that every exact thing has happened, and nothing will ever change. Uh, anyways, we’re off to become colored stars in the sky because reasons!” Of course, it was cut short because of Lego suddenly canceling Bionicle G2.
I think some of the episodes are on Dailymotian. But it might have been super popular, since it can be difficult to find the entire series, and there’s no way to buy the series to own.
