>>10051818>Nothing is jankier than Revoltechs. You posted a group shot of things jankier than Revoltechs here
>>10051773>Before they had shitty cut joints because they tried to save the sculpt, ending up with McFarlane quality poseability from 2001McFarlane has only made one line with borderline acceptable articulation before he got his shit together with the 40K line and that was his Halo figures. And even they have really subpar range on a lot of joints.
Meanwhile even older Revoltechs that relied on cut joints had outstanding range of motion and didn't go full retard with asymmetrical jointing, preposed sculpts or daisy-chained joints that got less range than a simple ball socket.
>Revoltechs from 2006 are just McFarlane toys from 2001. Cut joints with a few universal joints sprinkled in.McFarlane has never used a Revo style "generic" universal joint though, which is why his old toys had such wonky articulation. Everything had to be jointed "from the ground up" and because he basically sculpted a pre-posed statue, whacked it with a hammer and then put the thing back together with assorted hinges and pins in whatever fashion pleased him the results were usually total crap. Meanwhile Revoltech actually had something of a plan with their articulation layout, hence why they hold up far better than Todd's messes.
>Five years behind, because they're just copying the west and it took them a while to catch wind of western toylines.LMAO. At most, McFarlane walked so Revoltech could run. That Joker you posted, for instance, absolutely shits on anything Todd is making even now he's finally learned to adapt to modern sensibilities.
