>>7149828I remember picking up SDCC Gohan for about 40 bucks, Amazon Prime shipped, a month after SDCC 2012. The OG hadn't been re-issued and was well over 100 dollars. I picked up Trunks at a local comic shop for 50 bucks (and later Cell for 60), and Goku and Piccolo were easy enough to get, same with Ult Gohan, being the only of the bunch I ever bothered to pre-order.
And then suddenly Gohan was worth what I'd paid for the whole bunch, Trunks as well, and Cell was a good 90 I think. Sold the whole lot, and honestly don't regret it, the earlier ones pale in comparison to what's out today. Now I've picked up the latest Cell at a con (really regret not grabbing Broly, I picked one up for a friend and hot fuck is he amazing), and will probably get the battle damaged Gohan whenever I see it for 40 or under.
6/10 line will pick up some favorites again.
