Bandai isn't known for high quality anything. People generally just put up with them because they're the only company making a certain series.
When other companies make the same character or series, the other companies are usually the favorite.
This isn't to say that there aren't any fanboys for Bandai though, because we have a ton of shitposters here who'll derail threads for multiple Generals at a time for days/weeks if you talk shit about their brand.
