Who gives a flying fuck which Optimus is better? If you want to spend $400 on mp-44 then do it, if you'd rather spend ~$100 on the 3rd party options, then do it. If you'd rather spend $0 on the MP-10 you likely already have, (or wait for the prices to drop like rocks after mp-44, te-01, and ms-whatever) do it. It does not matter to anyone but you.
Instead of arguing over which plastic rendition of a poorly animated robot is better, maybe just consider yourselves lucky that we live in the greatest age of Transformers, with a wider variety of choice than ever before.
