>>9069621>>9069656>>9069780If Hasbro put me in charge of the Pretenders for new toys/media I'd make them more like Brainmasters, with the giant robots being their true forms and their chests opening up to reveal a tiny articulated humanoid figure, just about Titanmaster size, and that's their spy/human-scale battlefield body. The little human bodies would be in power armor/space suits similar to their original shells and could pilot the alt mode. Decepticons drop the monster shell thing, it just doesn't work for me but their human armors would pay homage to the monsters.
In lore, the robots re/build and maintain their Pretender bodies with organic goop around an endoskeleton (Terminator style) in their inner chambers and can replace one entirely given the time and materials. Through Clarketech shenanigans the robot and body share a mind.
Monstructor is retconned, no more Pretender connection. Also, I demand a new Monstructor with a four-armed mode.
Decepticons replace senators and run against each other for President, their goals being to turn the world on the Autobots and recover the Macguffin that creates more Pretenders, which was seized by the US government in a joint operation with the Autobots. At some point we get a fight between the "President" in power armor and a team of Autobot Micromasters, devastating parts of DC. Plot twist: The real original human body of the fake President was shoved into the armor, which did all the moving and fighting, but is now dead. The human VP, unaware of the Decepticon conspiracy, takes the oath and immediately declares the Autobots to be enemies of the United States and humanity. Don't tell me this plot has already been done in TF.
