>>6917094From the photos it doesn't actually look that bad. Thinning your paints correctly is always relevant advice. I typically use Vallejo model color and thinned 1:1 with their own thinner. Spray cans were used for primer and clear coats though.
It's worth getting some decent soft bristled brushes, and properly care for them. It doesn't have to be some scale model specific brush, you can easily just go to an art store and pick up some artist brushes. It's nice since they'll have them separate, outside of any pack so you can actually feel them.
If it's your first time painting then it's forgivable if you don't get 10/10 results. I know my first wasnt amazing.
