Said boomers bitched for years about mass-produced stuff so companies that used to make cheap entry-level stuff pivoted to making overpriced shit, making it the grayest of gray hobbies. Once the boomers die off, so does the industry, at which point either devoted autists cobble stuff together used or what companies remain become extraordinarily niche.
