I found three of the large gray 48 x 48 baseplates at the thrift shop today. They were 50 cents each so I figured I'd try and clean them up. So far I've scrubbed them and left them to soak in some simple green and water. One is looking pretty good. Number two has scratches on the top. Three has a decent sized crack in it.
Anyways, my question is what do you guys like to use on discolored parts to bring them back? Once I've finished scrubbing all the crud off I plan on using hydrogen peroxide to restore the color.
