retard Talonanon here, so after probably hundreds of times assembling and disassembling this piece of shit airbrush I think I've found the cause -- or at least part of the cause -- that's fucking with the rocker assembly.
the immediate issue is that the edges of the trigger lever flare out, by design. the problem is that they seem to be rubbing up against the inside lip of the slit along which the trigger runs (pic related; it's a little difficult to make out because of the photo distortion but I did my best).
this makes me believe that the rocker assembly (to which the lever is attached) is actually not seating correctly in the airbrush for some reason. I've tried jigging it around with the needle in and out, with the spring housing tightly screwed in, loosely screwed in, and without it entire; no dice. I'm thinking I could theoretically get it to work if I just... filed away the inside edge to give the lever a bit of wiggle room.
I still have no fucking idea how all of this was caused by just dropping the airbrush while I was cleaning it.
does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
