Everything they've done with the second game has been absolutely bizarre, and nothing makes any sense. The first game had its flaws, sure, but the major issue was simply that the game had so little story, They had a rich universe filled with so much lore and backstory, and didn't even bother putting it into the game, but made you hunt down those cards to piece together the history of what was going on.
But it was a decent, fun enough game to just piss around for a few hours, grinding out gear, or strikes for different weapon rolls, or doing this or that.
Destiny 2 is utterly devoid of any content. Even when I got bored in the first game, I'd take a break for a month or two, and come back to it for a few months. D2 I played for two weeks when it first dropped, two days when the first DLC came out, and maybe two hours when the most recent DLC came out. And I only did that because I was duped into the season pass.
I want D2 to thrive, but at this point I don't even give a fuck about the game, I just want it to do well so we get more Mega sets.
There were some leaks that we were getting the Cabal Thresher gunship (pic related) and there was going to be a set based on D2's raid. There was also a rumor that we were getting a sparrow set with a Hive Knight, but so far all we have for any of that is this pic, and no one even knows where exactly it even came from.
