The tiger 2 doesn’t look remotely like anything the allies where fielding so if it’s to mark it as german for what ever reason it seems pointless. My guess would be some GI thought “fuck it I’m gonna paint a swastika on it because I goddamn feel like it” and considering some of the bizarre and pointless shit they would write on knocked out german equipment I don’t think that’s too far fetched
