First off, the Effektivs are basically just the Galants. They're super customizable, hence the expansions coming with more shelves to add to your base model. You can add glass, drawers, shelves, doors, and so much shit. This is why I've bought multiples of them, along with the Galant (you have to custom make shelves for the Galant, because they're not sold seperately)
Yes, the Kallax doesn't have adjustable shelves, but guess what? They have a lot of uses for more than just display. I mostly used them to hold my trades. They also have less dead space than the Detolf, so anything you do put on display doesn't look so barren and awkward.

Again, this is why i have no problem suggesting the Billys, because they're extremely customizable, despite being poorfag as fuck. I'm not going to make fun of people buying Billys, because almost everyone is making effective use for them. Same with Kallax.
Whereas the Detolf is piecemealed and clusterfucked in almost every collection thread. It's the poorfag's choice, despite so many more options being available, because they don't want to spend a little more money for anything else
